Platform Role & Payment Disclaimer

BuntuCart is a software platform that enables conversational commerce, order management, and customer engagement through integrations with third-party systems.

BuntuCart does not process, hold, transmit, settle, or store funds.

All payments are conducted directly between merchants and their customers through third-party, licensed payment service providers or merchant POS systems selected and contracted by the merchant.

No Merchant of Record

BuntuCart is not the merchant of record for any transaction conducted using the platform.

The merchant is solely responsible for products or services offered, pricing, fulfillment, refunds, chargebacks, and compliance with applicable laws.

Payment Responsibility

Payment authorization, processing, confirmation, and settlement are handled entirely by the merchant’s chosen payment provider.

BuntuCart does not store payment credentials, card data, mobile money details, or banking information.

Limitation of Liability (Payments)

BuntuCart shall not be liable for payment failures, delays, reversals, chargebacks, or disputes arising from the use of third-party payment providers or merchant POS systems.

Regulatory Positioning

Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as BuntuCart providing financial services, payment services, money transmission, stored value services, or electronic money services.
